Internship

Dierenkliniek Leeuwendael is recognised by Aequor and is a registered training company.
We regularly offer the opportunity for students who are training to become paraveterinary assistants to do an internship with us. We only have room for one trainee at a time. During an internship the student works at our practice at Oranjelaan.

Would you like to do an internship with us? Then send an email with the following:

• Your personal details
• What course you study and at which school
• What year of your course you're currently in
• The internship period and on which days the internship will take place
• A motivation: why do you want to do an internship with us?

If there is still room for an intern for period in question, we will first ask you for an introductory interview. If this meeting goes to both parties' satisfaction, we will ask you to come along for a morning's work before deciding whether you can complete your internship with us.

Work experience/ social workplacement

Very occasionally, we allow a pupil from primary or secondary school to spend a day or part of a day as part of a 'taster course' or 'social apprenticeship'. However, this is reserved for children from our own clientele.
